The “Wayfarer’s Reverie” music video spans two distant worlds: the ornate 19th-century Teatro Stella D’Italia in Montevideo, where the band performs on a stage steeped in history, and the snowy forests and frozen lakes of Jyväskylä, Finland, where the storyline unfolds. We've been shooting a video clip for the last song that will be released for the "East Of The Sun" EP. The shooting locations span more than 10 thousand kilometers featuring an old and pintoresque theater in the heart of Montevideo in Uruguay, and the beautiful wintery forests of Jyväskylä, in Central Finland.
We have new t-shirts, including our full length album artwork, and also
the artwork for "East Of The Sun". Additionally, we have re-stocked
copies of our debut EP, "A Quest For Life" that had been sold-out for a while.

We are starting to record our next release, which will be called called "East Of The Sun". It is our first experience working in a fully remote setup as a band, and despite all the challenges, some of our best material is being made, and we can't wait to share it with the world.
Formed in Montevideo, Uruguay in 2013, Crystal Gates has steadily grown its presence in the symphonic power metal scene. Highlights include the release of their debut EP "A Quest For Life", performing at festivals across South America, sharing stages with acclaimed international artists (Epica, Xandria, Masterplan, Anneke Van Giersbergen, and more), and releasing the critically acclaimed album "Torment & Wonder: The Ways Of The Lonely Ones" — all while developing a passionate international fanbase.
Today, even as life has taken us to different corners of the world — with Benjamin now calling Finland home — our commitment to music and our art remains strong. Despite the challenges of distance, time zones, and occasional outside skepticism, Crystal Gates continues to create new music and perform live whenever possible. Our journey is defined by perseverance, creativity, and a love for sharing music with audiences everywhere.
